How to Keep Track of All Your Flights, Credit Card Bonus Timeliness and There’s a Monkey in Business Class!

Ever wonder how much you’ve flown overall?  Or have you had trouble remembering when you went to that destination you love?

I personally use Swarm (previously FourSquare) to keep track of all my flights.  But it doesn’t give me detailed knowledge.  Just what airports I’ve been to and when.

There are better products out there.  The Flight Detective of Travel Update reviewed a bunch of them and gives his opinion.  I’d check it out!

There are a lot of credit cards out there that promise windfalls of points after a certain amount of spend.  These offers often seem too good to be true, but if you are detail oriented, you can really profit.

But what if you have a trip coming up soon that you want to take and your points haven’t posted yet?  Pizza in Motion has a great post about credit card bonus timelines.  He goes into when to expect them and well, how to keep your expectations in line.
