Inside Flyer just highlighted my husband’s frequent flyer savvy when buying my engagement ring--he made sure it also secured our honeymoon!

  1. At an annual Berkshire Hathaway meeting, Warren Bufett recalled the story of talking to Bill Gates years ago, pre-engagement. Gates was to buy the engagement ring at Berkshire’s Borsheims Jewelers.

There was a $ twinkle in Buffett’s eye as he remembered mentioning to Gates that the budget norm was about 3 months pay.

Cute story, but I guess he didn’t need CC miles since he owns NetJets.

    Kudos for your bonanza.

Did you bring your hub into the game, or vice versa?
