  1. Having undertaken extensive genealogical research on my McAdam ancestors I would be thrilled to visit Scotland particularly the Galloway area from which my great-grandfather emigrated in the early 1900s. He established himself in Costa Rica, Central America as evidenced by many McAdam descendants there today. His son, my mother’s dad, established the marketplace in Puntarenas, an important rail and shipping center in Guanacaste Costa Rica during that era. I am fascinated by the research I’ve uncovered regarding my Scots ancestors and would be delighted to have the opportunity to visit.
