What did JetBlue do when they changed uniforms? Â Recycle the old ones into bags!
According to USA Today in the Sky:
JetBlue joined up with Manhattan Portage, the company that first popularized and continues to make iconic New York City bicycle messenger bags and this week (just in time for Earth Day) is rolling out the “JetBlue Uniform Bag Collection,” a line of five items made from unworn recycled uniforms and available online and in Manhattan Portage stores.
I’m really loving the briefcase, but I think at the price of $115, I’d have jumped if I were more of a JetBlue flyer.
Still, I think it is cleverly designed. Â This one is made out of vets and makes creative use of space and pockets.
By the way, no relation to the Hoffman in the video.
