Amazon Offering Free One-Day Shipping on Last Minute Gifts

Amazon-logoI’ve been an Amazon Prime member for years now, and I’ve always been impressed by the specials, speed of delivery, and now, the free streaming videos.  But finding free one-day shipping today was a nice surprise.   Amazon Prime is currently offering a 30-day free trial, so if you need to get a last-second order in, you could temporarily sign up.

I’ve been poking around the site today, and looked up an item I had forgot to order.  I was surprised to find this item–which was only a $10 DVD–was being offered with free one-day shipping.

I quickly added it to my order, and the person receiving this item will be none-the-wiser.  (Though I suspect everyone who receives a DVD from me will be suspicious after this!)

I was surprised by the sheer amount of items being offered with one-day shipping.  They range from toys to luggage to jewelry to electronics.

I don’t actually think you even need to have Amazon Prime for this, but if you aren’t seeing the one-day shipping when clicking through, then you probably do.  It keeps showing up with the Prime check mark for me next to the items, but I think it’s just because I’m logged into a prime account.

Good luck with your last-minute shopping!  I’m about to venture out there myself.  Just ran out of wrapping paper.

Happy holidays!
