You need to have a Fandango Now account in order to buy the movie. When you make an account, it requires a credit card to sign-up.
If you read the fine print, it says they will only charge you for purchases. But since you are “purchasing” (for free), their software requires the credit card.

I would second this offer. I just got this for free a couple days ago. I’d also recommend that you link all your digitl download (non-iTunes) sites to Vudu. I’ve gotten dozens of free movies like this over the past year or so. Vudu also has a decent mobile app.

okay I feel stupid. I just got this but how do I watch it on my macbook? The only way I see to do it is to log inot Fandango now. Is there a way to watch offline?
