There’s a new summer market coming to downtown Fayetteville (NC) starting this Thursday in Festival Park. This market has what you’d usually expect from a farmer’s market–plus a lot more.
Each week will feature a local beloved artist. This week, Shaun McNamee and Neil Ray will be playing. I just saw them at Dirtbag Brewery this past weekend and they were amazing.
You’ll also be able to grab a beer or wine from one of the local breweries (Gaston and Bright Light) or the Wine Cafe at the Cool Spring Downtown District Tent. You can take it with you while you stroll around all of the other vendor booths.
There will be rotating food trucks each week as well.  This week’s lineup includes Medi Bites, which I enjoyed immensely this past weekend at Bright Lights Brewery:
Some of my favorites coming to the market include:
Bread & Sugar by Dali
Sweet Goose

Alamo Snow

Authentique Cafe

R Burger Truck

The Sudsy Nun Soap Company
There will also be, of course, usual farmer’s market booths where you can pick up some locally sourced meat, produce, and eggs.
I’ll be there at the inaugural event this Thursday. It goes from 4-8pm. Hope to see you there!
