Someone in my office commented that the countdown towards wool pea coats has begun.  (Sadly!)

And right on cue, Amazon.com has launched a 70% off winter coat sale.  Some of the deals are pretty significant.

My DKNY wool coat has served me well for over 5 years at this point.  But it’s starting to get a little worn and pilled.

I’m interested in this Calvin Klein jacket that’s marked down from $300 to $90:

I’ve just never worn a double breasted jacket before.  Too mafia-esque, or do you think it would work fine?  (Where are my enablers at?!)

My other thought is to go full on color with this jacket from Via Spiga (marked down from $315 to $90):

Anyway–this is a great markdown on jackets.  Stores tend to do sales this huge in general (I’ve seen Neiman Marcus, Lord and Taylor and Macys do it other years), so don’t pay full price unless you absolutely need a jacket in that moment.
