How Trips Can Be Lonely

I love traveling by myself AND with other people.

But sometimes traveling solo can get lonely at the most random times.

I was traveling alone, and the Hyatt brought up an amenity for me.

I don’t know why, but having TWO wine glasses for just me made me tear up.

Okay, maybe a little more than tear up.

First 10 minutes of a Disney movie tear up.

See, most of the time when I travel solo, I know people who are at the destination I’m going to.

This specific trip, I didn’t know anyone where I was.  And for some reason, the extra glass of wine reminded me of that.

I love this “game”.  I love traveling.  But I have to admit.  75% of what’s great about travel is getting to see friends around the world.
