Great Kindle Book Sale on Amazon Today on Popular Books

Usually, when I see a Kindle sale on Amazon, it contains books I haven’t really heard of for $1.99-$3.99.  Today, Amazon is offering fifteen books in that price range that I’ve definitely heard of.

The sale includes some of my favorites:

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl, which is very different from the movie based off it.  I love Roald Dahl’s wit and twisted sense of humor.

The first book of a Series of Unfortunate Events by “Lemony Snicket” is only $1.99.  Please don’t judge the quality of the books by the movie–the movie, while good enough, doesn’t even approach the level of the books, and tried to tie a nicer bow around things.  (They are creating a Netflix original series based off the books, which I’m really looking forward to).
