This YouTube video has been making the rounds and it is a comparison of German to other languages.
The video exaggerates the German a bit, which only makes it funnier.
But in more seriousness, if you want to learn any of these languages, I really recommend DuoLingo.
It’s really helped me learn enough language quickly as I’ve hopped from country to country. Â I could order food (but fell flat once when a waitress started explaining they were out of my entree).
It really gamifies the process and a lot of languages are included–even German.
I explain in this post why I really prefer this app over Rosetta Stone. Â Though if there’s ever a horse in my airplane, thanks to my use of Rosetta Stone, I can explain that to everyone else.
