I apologize, but here is one more Sandy post. View from the Wing, along with other Boarding Area bloggers, is sponsoring a comment-based donation to the hurricane relief effort. All you need to do is comment on their blog posts and they’ll donate to Sandy.
Gary mentioned that he has family in New York (just as I do) and commented “the storm there is shocking in so many ways”. I cannot emphasize this enough. So many people were affected in such a (relatively) small space. Resources are really scarce there.
I like blogger efforts like this because it keeps the need for donations in the lime light. I hope their efforts cause even more people to donate past what Boarding Area ends up donating.
