Telltale Games is one of my favorite game outlets. Â They produce the You Don’t Know Jack series, and Sam &Â Max.
Lately, they’ve been producing more episodic style of video games (like Sam & Max).
They have a Minecraft themed series called Minecraft: Story Mode (not to be confused with the original game Minecraft).
At the moment, the game is free. Â It’s usually $5 and comes with the first episode.
Each additional episode is usually $5. Â Right now, they are on sale for half-price ($2.50).
Created by award-winning adventure game powerhouse Telltale Games, in partnership with Minecraft creators, Mojang
Featuring the voices of Patton Oswalt (Ratatouille, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), Brian Posehn (The Sarah Silverman Program, Mission Hill), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, Tales from the Borderlands)
You will drive the story through the decisions you make: what you say to people (and how you say it), and what you choose to do in moments of thrilling action will make this YOUR story
This sale lasts for about 8 days. Â I just downloaded the first episode so I can play and decide if I want the rest before the sale is over.
From the reviews:
Sweet! This is an *awesome* game, and really brings the characters and world of Minecraft to life on a RP-style level! Now my collection is complete! Minecraft, PE, Windows 10 Beta and now Story Mode! Thanks, developers, for taking it to the next level! I recommend this game to anyone who loves Minecraft. It’s excellent IMO! =D
Just know, you cannot sync the episodes you’ve purchased across devices, according to the reviews.
Have you played this game yet?
Such an awesome tip, thanks!
