Usually, when Amazon has a Kindle sale, I don’t recognize the books on the sale list. Â Today, some of my favorites are on sale for $1.99-$2.99. Â They are all HarperCollins books.
Beautiful Ruins is a book that seriously touched me when I read it. Â It was funny at times, romantic at others, and sometimes downright heartbreaking.
The acclaimed, award-winning author of the national bestseller The Financial Lives of the Poetsreturns with his funniest, most romantic, and most purely enjoyable novel yet: the story of an almost-love affair that begins on the Italian coast in 1962 . . . and is rekindled in Hollywood fifty years later. Â
My childhood favorite, the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is only $1.99.  I didn’t have this one on Kindle already, so I’m picking it up.
This only is actually useful if you’ve read the other two books, but the third book in the Divergent Trilogy, Allegiant, is only $2.99.
A finally, the first book to ever make me cry, the Giving Tree, is $1.99.
If you get any of them, let me know what you think, especially Beautiful Ruins.  Though I’m also interested in what fans of the first and second Divergent books thought of the last one.   I definitely have opinions.
