Why You Should Always Visit RetailMeNot Before Buying Anything

I was just buying some things on Victoria’s Secret and I headed on over to RetailMeNot.com to see what specials they had.

Today I found a lot:

I was able to get free shipping, an unexpected discount, and a free $15 reward card. Â I also went through the Ultimate Reward portal and got 2 UR points per dollarÂ plus used my Discover Card’s 5% cash back on online purchases. Â (I found the best portal deal on EVReward). Â Not a bad deal.

I always use RetailMeNot to see how many coupons I can stack together. Â That’s how I was able to stack two major discounts with a major sale on Banana Republic.

I’ve always found Victoria’s Secret and Banana Republic have been the most profitable with stacking. Â Also a note on Banana—if you get deals on Gap too (and are buying on Gap), sometimes the promotions will cross over.

Either way, I’m really happy with my savings today!

But in order to get the Ultimate Rewards portal points, don’t the coupon codes also have to come from the portal, not retailmenot?
