I’ve decided to call it.  There will be no greater costume than this one.

What are usually the best types of costumes?

Ones that are timely. (Some are Star Wars related, like mine last year… and this year).

What makes the best costumes even better?

Interactivity. 

Pizza in Motion’s son had a really timely costume and I give him an honorable mention for that–he went as the Pokemon, Pikachu.

(…we now live in a world where spell check knows both those words…)

But the guy who has won Halloween?  He went as PokemonGO.  Not as one of the Pokemon.  Not the image of the game.

No, he went as the concept of the game itself.
