She’s Doing a Polar Plunge in Memory of Her Mother’s Death–Please consider donating

My niece is raising money for the Special Olympics in her mother’s memory.  She’ll be doing a Polar Plunge in February of 2017.

Her mom loved doing the polar plunge, and the polar plunge weekend is going to be the first anniversary of her death.  She hit her original goal number but is trying to raise as much as she can towards a cause her mother cared about,

Please consider donating towards this cause.

From her fundraising site:

Many people know my mom loved doing the Polar Plunge, for the past eight years she always participated and worked to raise money for the cause.  Having been a special education teacher for several years she was inspired by the students that she met and worked.  As many of you know she passed away last February so I have decided to carry on her passion and legacy by participating in the Kirksville Polar Plunge! My goal is to raise five hundred dollars so please donate anything you can to help this amazing cause or even join a team near you!

Either way you’ll be supporting the best reasons for freezin’- Special Olympics athletes. Through year-round sports, Special Olympics fosters acceptance and inclusion in our community.  The money I raise supports local athletes.

Thank for you for visiting my fundraising page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
