A United Flight destined for Seattle had to emergency-land in Boise when someone on board suffered a heart attack–the pilot.

Over 50% of British Pilots admit to sleeping while flying, while another subset of that admits they notice their copilot was also sleeping when they wake up.

This came on the heels of the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority’s report that two pilots were caught sleeping on a long-distance route.

 

This isn’t as bad as the older news story of pilots who slept for 40 minutes while the flight attendant flew the plane.

Or when the pilot locked himself out of the cockpit after using the bathroom.
