I seem to enjoy living in tourist destinations. Â I grew up in New York and I now live just outside Washington, D.C. (and used to live in it).
I just did a few “tourist days” with my niece and as part of that, booked a bus tour.
Turns out, locals can take bus tours in DC for free.
Old Town Trolley (who also runs the Duck tours) allow locals to take tours for free when accompanying an out of towner.

*Hometown pass holder can be an adult or child (ages 4-12) who resides in eligible areas of Historic Tours of America tours and attractions. You only need to be within a 50 mile radius, so suburbanites are definitely welcome.
