What Happens if You Are in Danger of Losing Your Miles

When you add up all my miles and points right now, I’m right about at a million.  I’m on the saving side right now, and I’ll probably purge a lot for a massive trip coming up soon.

But with so many miles sitting in my account, what if one of my accounts get audited and I’m in danger of losing my miles and points?

It’s easier than you think.  Some programs, like IHG, could shut you down for registering for a promotion you were not invited to.

View from the Wing posted a great guide today on how to respond to an audit and how to cover all of your bases.

I totally recommend checking it out.  You spent a lot of time and effort earning your miles.  Make sure you are prepared in case of an audit.
