DC-Area Travel Meet-Up THIS TUESDAY!

A reminder that we are all gathering from 6-9pm at Ovvio (Orange Line) for the next DC-area GeekyPizza Travel Meetup!

We can’t wait to see you all.  And I can’t wait for some of Ovvio’s food.

We have a very generously extended happy hour for the group.  Don’t forget to register ahead to get a wristband for that!

Here are the details:

Love to travel? Live in the greater-DC/NoVA area? Come to our (free) travel meetup!

Meet up with two of Boarding Area’s bloggers–Le Chic Geek aka Jeanne, and Pizza in Motion aka Ed.

We’ll be hanging out at a bar in Merrifield with a great Italian selection. We’ve also negotiated an extended happy hour for all registered attendees!

It will be at:

Ovvio in Merrifield
May 30th

You can register for the event here.

Come to ask for travel advice. Come to meet other travelers. Or just come to check out the great Italian food.

This is sure to be a great evening, just like the last few, and we look forward to seeing you there!

The event is in Merrifield, easily accessible by the Dunn Loring Metro station. If you are traveling to the event, there is a Hyatt House nearby!

I love this location and suggest you come hungry and thirsty.

  1. I’m assuming you’re both in the NOVA area but would love to see one of these in Bethesda or even along the redline in DC for us Maryland ppl. Such a pain getting to VA at rush hour. Have fun!

We rotate! We were just in Shaw. I’m thinking Dupont for the next one, though I haven’t run that by Ed yet.
