The Star Wars Cantina music is pretty catchy and seems like a happenin’ spot. Â Well, aside from potentially getting shot if you are a bounty hunter.
Now, an actual Star Wars Cantina is opening.
We’re excited to exclusively announce the Scum and Villainy Cantina is coming to Hollywood this winter.
The Star Wars-inspired cantina is a temporary pop-up experience with an immersive environment. You’ll be able to eat galactic delicacies, drink, and spend time taking five million pictures and selfies. Each reservation at the Scum and Villainy Cantina includes two drinks of your choice, a souvenir pint glass, a Scum and Villainy challenge coin, and other surprises. Your reservation gets you two hours inside the pop-up, either from 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. or 8:30p.m. – 10:30p.m. nightly, or 3:00p.m. – 5:00p.m. on Saturday. They’ll allow walk-in customers from 11:00p.m. – 2:00a.m. (If you save your challenge coin, you can return during open seating and get in for free).
They’ll begin taking reservations in a few days at this website.
I have a few trips coming up to California in the future but none to the Hollywood area–yet. Â But this may just be worth a trip. Â (Though IÂ still need to get out to the Indiana Jones bar, but this will be more temporary).
I can’t find anything on the reservation website that says how long this pop-up will be available, but I found more information:
The Scum and Villainy Cantina is nestled less than 12 parsecs away, in the wretched hive of Hollywood, CA. This temporary pop-up experience transports you into a fully immersive environment where you drink, eat, and hang out as if you were in a galaxy far away. If you’ve got the credits, we’ll serve your kind here… just make sure to leave your droids at home. Costumes encouraged.

Some may remember, I went out to Seattle for a Star Wars exhibit on May the Fourth over a year ago.
I’m really excited about this, and it might warrant breaking out the tauntaun.
A few years ago, I went out to the (now closed) Quark’s bar in Las Vegas. Â My friends and I drank a bunch of warp core breaches and had a great time.
Romulan Ale was also avaliable.
It ended up being fun and only a little cheesy.
So I can’t wait to check out the Cantina. Â Because I can’t get this song out of my head.
Inquiring minds want to know (and see) what is going to wear at the Star Wars cantina!
I’d love to go but as a droid, they don’t allow my kind in there unfortunately.
