The day I’ve been waiting for has come. I was making a tight connection in Philly, but spotted something unusual out of the corner of my eye.
Well, also out of the rest of my eye. And the other one too. I wasn’t sure I was in terminal F.
Terminal F in Philadelphia is the Purgatory of airports. It’s been under construction for who knows how long without much to do during delays. And boy does Philly have delays.
My flight was starting to board, but I ducked into the club for a few quick photos.
It’s located on a second floor in Terminal F. Yes, there’s a second floor in terminal F now!
The place was completely empty when I got there. Since it is on the second floor and is brand new, I don’t think frequent travelers know it’s there yet. (In fact, the Wandering Aramean was tweeting, wondering when it was going to open)
It looked like a pretty standard new US Airways club. There was nothing special to it specifically, but it was clean, nice looking, and there were tons of outlets around.
I’ll have more pictures when I’m not risking missing my flight!
A side note, there’s an adorable exhibit in the main area of the US Airways terminal for children. I was tempted to hang out there a while, which was part of the reason I was so late for my flight.
Fly a plane or be a passenger!
Drive around in a luggage card.
Or pretend you are a flight attendant, taking a quick break at Charlotte airport.
It was like a mini-MegaDO for children!
