With all my traveling taken off my schedule, I’ve been discovering the outdoors locally here in North Carolina.
Tomorrow (or today, if you are one of the newsletter readers), I’ll be live streaming from a picnic from one of our great outdoors spots (properly socially distanced and within all outdoor recommendations).
I’ll be picnicking outside of Dirtbag Ales & Taproom, one of my favorite places–for many reasons.
Dirtbag is on 5-acres of property. The on-site restaurant, Napkins, is located outdoors in a place with plenty of room.

I love this spot because it has everything–great craft beer, sangria, and craft hard-seltzer, food trucks, the wonderful Napkins Restaurant, a dog park–that you can enjoy while still social distancing.
In “normal life,” there’s live music, farmer’s market, and events (there are versions of those right now that are socially-distanced).
If you are in New York, this is also halfway to Disney! (For when travel starts up again).
