JetBlue generously gave free flights to families of the Orlando shooting victims and has gone above and beyond in showing their support (even changing their sign-off message).
The grandmother of Luis Omar Ocasio-Capo was on-board a JetBlue flight on Tuesday, and the flight attendants decided to go above and beyond for her–getting the entire plane to sign a sheet of paper offering support to her.
Those on the flight went above and beyond the flight attendants’ expectations by writing paragraphs and paragraphs. While the flight attendants expected to present her with one sheet of paper, they had pages and pages by the end.
One of the flight attendants expressed her gratitude to the everyone on board in a Facebook post.
JetBlue has a history of compassionate gestures in times of tragedy. For example, they flew a letter from a little boy to be buried with his cousin following the Newtown tragedy.
I’m glad to see JetBlue being this compassionate–and even more so, their employees too.
