A Delta flight just diverted to Tulsa when ~15 passengers–that is, 10% of the flight–suddenly got sick at the same time.
The flight took off from Atlanta and was headed to Denver.

There’s no word yet on what caused the sickness.
According to Tulsa police dispatch, there are reports that 10-15 passengers got sick on board around the same time.
EMSA has 2 units on scene. They are treating the situation as a medical issue at this time.
According to NewsOn6.com, they don’t know if the passengers originated from the same initial airport.
One passenger was taken to the hospital.
Two years ago, nine flight attendants on a US Airways flight from Italy to the United States got sick at the same time. Â No word on whether they had the fish or the steak either.
Update: Other news sources are saying 9 passengers. Â I’m not sure which is more accurate.

The news reports say nothing turned out to be serious at all. If it did turn out to be serious, I wouldn’t joke about it.

Definitely not food poisoning as symptoms don’t occur until 8-24 hrs later(not saying that you implied it at all.) had to be something else involved.
