US Airways to Add Meals on Shorter Flights plus More Starting April 1st

No, this isn’t an April Fools joke!  Long gone are the days of trying to fill up on raspberry fig bar snacks on a 3-hour flight.

US Airways

From US Airways:

Beginning April 1, 2014, you’ll notice some new inflight enhancements in First Class on domestic US Airways flights.
  • We’re offering our signature snack basket on flights 1 – 2 hours in length

  • Flights longer than 2:45 hours will feature an updated menu of fresh meals

On B757- and B767-operated flights in Business Class, enjoy the new Samsung Galaxy Tabâ„¢ offering 60 movies, as well as a greater variety of television programs and audio selections. Plus, this spring on our international Business Class flights, tune out with new Bose® QuietComfort® 15 Acoustic Noise Cancelling® headphones. I cannot explain how excited I am by this.  The snack basket, while generous on my short up-and-down flights hasn’t quite cut it on really long routes.  I have a 2-hour flight coming up on April 3rd and will report back!

  1. Just flew from Autin to Phoenix & back last week I. First class, wish they had the expanded selection then. Chips & tiny biscotti wasn’t really worth much.
