Just a quick note that John Strongbow’s Tavern in Old Town Alexandria is having a Medieval beer tasting this coming Sunday at 4pm.
Each of the beers at the tasting are:

of legitimate, documented medieval heritage

considered amongst the finest beers in the world!
You must make reservations ahead of time and there’s two different buffet options. I’m personally a fan of the tavern’s brats.
The website doesn’t say which beers will be offered, but they do have a formidable beer list.
I enjoyed the tasting and the food. It was a good value!
