Washington, DC Readers: A Taste Around Europe with Medieval Beer / Whiskey Tasting

Just a quick note that John Strongbow’s Tavern in Old Town Alexandria is having a Medieval beer tasting this coming Sunday at 4pm.

From the website:

Each of the beers at the tasting are:

  • rated 98% excellent in international competition

  • of legitimate, documented medieval heritage

  • considered amongst the finest beers in the world!

You must make reservations ahead of time and there’s two different buffet options.  I’m personally a fan of the tavern’s brats.

The website doesn’t say which beers will be offered, but they do have a formidable beer list.
