The First Photo Bomb in Recorded History?

On the night of my rehearsal dinner, I gathered with my closest friends to take a cute photo together.  One for the photo album, to show off while Keri and I are 110 years old, in our rocking chairs on the porch.

But then, the photo became……

“Remember that time Tiff’s husband photo bombed your rehearsal dinner?”

I fell less bad about this when I was walking through the Louvre and came across this picture of the Madonna and Baby with its own photo-bomber:

(This piece is the Madonna and Child with St. John the Baptist by Sandro Botticelli)

This apparently was not John the Baptist’s first or last time photo bombing.

But I digress.  Finding the John the Baptist photo-bomb made my day and made me feel in better company with my own photo-bombing experience. (Also, please post any other John the Baptist photo bombs if you find any!)

I highly recommend touring the Louvre and looking for this painting.  Oh–and yes, while you are there, you might as well check out the Mona Lisa 😛
