The Next DC Meetup — Toys for Tots Edition!

Our next DC-area meet-up will be in Crystal City on November 30th from 6-9 pm.  We’ll be teaming up with Tagging Miles to run a Toys for Tots happy hour.

Register for the happy hour here.

Come by to talk travel AND help some children have a brighter holiday.

Ed from Pizza in Motion and I are pairing up with Tagging Miles to do a Toys for Tots drive as part of our next happy hour.

We’ll be hanging out at a great bar in Crystal City (and yes, for those who have been coming for a while–this is a repeat location!).

We’re asking people attending to consider bringing an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The toy cannot contain any food item or resemble any weapons. Other than that, the list of what you can bring is pretty wide–they are looking for a wide range of gifts.

Come to ask for travel advice. Come to meet other travelers. Or just come to share the holiday spirit!

This is sure to be a great evening, just like the last few, and we look forward to seeing you there!

The event is in Crystal City, easily accessible by the Crystal City Metro station on the Blue or Yellow Line. If you are traveling to the event, there are multiple hotels nearby!

We are also right by the DCA airport.  We look forward to seeing you!

  1. Jeanne – You mean the Blue or Yellow line. Just don’t want people to get lost.
