JetBlue Plane Makes Emergency Landing at BOS After Striking Bird

If you are having a bad day, I think this bird is having a worst one.

From Boston.com:

A JetBlue flight leaving Logan International Airport this morning had to make an emergency landing after the plane struck a bird during takeoff, the airline said in a statement.

JetBlue flight 111, which was heading to Chicago O’Hare International Airport, struck a bird shortly after 8 a.m. The captain of the plane decided to return to Logan Airport, where the aircraft was inspected, JetBlue said.

Passengers were taken off the plane and offered other flight options to Chicago, JetBlue said.

JetBlue, a once fledgling airline, is have a beak day after this fowl accident.

JetBlue believes the plane can fly again; no word on the bird.
