Where can you find breweries in San Francisco?  I’ve written pretty often on the wineries in the San Francisco area, but I’ve ignored the brewery scene–which is pretty big.

I love the way this brewery packages their beer.  Their Prohibition Ale caught my eye the first time I spotted it.  I have a thing for noir, and they really connect with that aesthetic.

You can do flights in their tasting rooms.  Dogs and children are only allowed outside on the patio and leashed.  (Well, the dogs need to be leashed…)

We carried Anchor in a bar that I used to work in.  About once a week, I’d get someone coming in saying “I’m from San Francisco and can’t believe you carry Anchor.”  Many people know Anchor Steam but there’s a whole variety available.
