Another Great Video Game Sale: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard for $39.99 on PS4 and XBone

Yesterday, Amazon had a great set of video games on sale, including Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2.  And that sale is still live today (I’m not sure for how long).

Today, the latest release in the horror series Resident Evil is on sale.  Resident Evil 7’s graphics are so horrifyingly amazing, you’ll wish they weren’t in some scenes… if you know what I mean.

You can buy it here for $39.99 on PS4 and on XBone.  It is not available for sale on PC.

Biohazard is done via first-person perspective–which really works for it.  The Resident Evil series (especially the first few games) focuses on surviving vs. “hack and slash”.  And this edition really brings that survival aspect back to the games.  You can’t button mash your way out of this game and bad guys aren’t easily dispatched.  (As opposed to Silent Hill, where you are somehow able to relatively easily dispatch much of what’s thrown at you).

I’ll watch other people play these games but I’m not sure if I can handle the horror myself.  (I cried while playing Silent Hill 2 once.)

If you want to check it out at all, here’s a video of one of my favorite Twitch streamers, VGCafe, playing it:
